#Irapuato, #Gto.- The State Government, through the Ministry of Social and Human Development, headed by Secretary Jesús Oviedo Herrera, began the delivery of hearing aids to 169 Guanajuato residents.

In his speech, Jesús Oviedo pointed out that through the GTO Contigo Sí Strategy, state agencies have joined efforts to carry out programs that improve the living conditions of those most in need, as is the case of hearing aids.

«These devices help many people by allowing them to hear sounds they had not heard before. They can help people who have trouble understanding speech, especially in noisy places, or who have lost some of their hearing due to aging,» he said.

For his part, the Director of INGUDIS, José Grimaldo Colmenero pointed out that the investment of the 169 hearing aids was a state investment of more than 990 Thousand Pesos.

«This delivery is with the Institution’s own resources that come from savings and leftovers that we have achieved throughout the year to be able to return them to you because we know that in Guanajuato we have taught ourselves to multiply when there is none and today we are returning them to the people who need them most,» said Grimaldo Colmenero.

Meanwhile, the beneficiary Ma. Elena Contreras Aguilera expressed her gratitude for this support, but mainly her excitement for the improvement in her quality of life that she has with this device.
